guess what, i finally got a copy of Robert Love's Linux Kernel Development (ed2)
it was mentioned by someone in MyOSS planet. I have marked it since then, hoping at certain time i will be able to get a copy and start reading. But i happen to read an article from the author itself in the October issue of LinuxJournal, and i somehow think i should get a copy of his book. Robert is inspiring in his article about PlanetProject Utopia, at least for me.
good news is, i found a copy from the library of another university, so off i went to ordered it, and the copy is now on my desk.
shall write about things i read, if i can understand them (don't laugh, i am still as newbie as i was) or i have the time for the writing...

Get your Facts Right Please :-)
For the record, it's known as "PROJECT" Utopia and not Planet Utopia. (This I'm fairly certain because I follow this project and I also egg developers on with it)
It's one of those projects which I also take an interest. I've been meaning to write about what is this whole deal with Project Utopia but for the longest time, I've kept putting it off. I've got lots of things which I can and will write about, but getting me to sit down is akin to asking a monkey to stop dancing.
Sigh..
PS : Is there any way I can pursuade you to remove the Office like shortcut bar. It akes a huge load of resources each time it gets loaded in firefox.
opps! my editor speaking here!
darn, it is of course my blur-ness - Project Utopia, instead of Planet. :)
if you check the link, it points to the article Project Utopia too... thanks for pointing out the mistake!
the wysiwyg editor is perhaps too heavy, but for non-html people it is helpful... i will find out see whether can one turn it off by themselves or not.
