Just a short question for those who frequently searched for similar topics and ended up here - should i make an update write up specifically on this topic, especially when i now have access to several Nseries phones (am using a N95 8GB for my experiments and measurements, plus perhaps another few more S60 3rd / 5th Edition phones on loan when i have the time)?
i notice an all time popular content at wahlau.org is actually on the topic of S60 3rd Edition synchronization using opensync. I have long actually given up on this after playing with it 2 years ago - i now am more comfortable using ovi.com to keep things in sync. It is actually easier now when your phone has wifi. No more worries of paying 3G bills (well, i do that with my N70 months long). But looking at the visits, i just think perhaps it is worth while to retry opensync now, looking at how many things have improve in the last year.
So if i get some positive feedbacks, i will perhaps do the following in the next months (am busy now with my own work and study - no time to waste actually):
1. Opensync and Series 60 3rd (or perhaps 5th Edition)
2. A2DP with Ubuntu
3. 3G dial up with your favourite Series 60 phone (ok, i don't have so many)
what else? do you have suggestions? Most of these information you can find bits and pieces via google. So if you are in a hurry to get things done, perhaps i cannot offer you much for the time being. But I would love to summarize important points so that i (and other people) can always repeat the steps and get things up in short time. Hope some of the how-tos here had been useful... and hope i can write more in days/months to come :)

would suggest you trying to use BT audio from laptop/pc to headfones.
I was able to get it working, not straightforward though.
I am still unable to use mic on headfone for recording or call handling.
sync is also unreliable.
