as soon as i wrote about LBS, i came across another blog asking people what they think about seamless . The word is no longer foreign to us, those who are in the "field". But again, it is such a vague word that you can define as far as you like - there is no actual limit to the definition. Seth see it the other way round. He thinks that seam is more important than seamless, since without seam things will not work.
"It's to put the seams in places where they are actually useful."
now that is a good point. But i would think seamless is what Seth said, plus being ubiquitous and autonomous - we do not want to know how the technicalities look like. We just want things to work. So,
"seamless is to put the seams in places where they are actually useful, and they just work."
Foodfruit for thought.

Seamless means to me...
Seamless doesn't mean that there are no seams but to be not aware of
seams.
then it should have been
then it should have been seam-aware-less instead :)
