wahlau's online hut

so far it is half way there. We have got all wall papers up except our corridor done, and the colours are nice. Kitchen equipments are attached, and we only need to get the cupboards hung up. Else, we have only the floors to fix up.

The whole project is really taxing, especially when both of us are working, we can only do things during weekend, and rely on friends to help us out. But of course we cannot let friends do all the work. So it was good that we have tried to do up the walls within a weekend. Next we will need to buy the laminate pieces, and start fixing the floors up.

The next thing to plan and think about is the moving day. Til now we can only estimate how long it might take until we get the floors done. Else we cannot expect to move in without proper floor! so that will be either on the Saturday, or perhaps on Monday. Other than renovation, we need to start packing our stuffs to be brought over. again, furnitures should be up and ready before we can pack the stuffs in.

Right after these planning, tzeying already has great plans to improve the kitchen. She already fancied those nice roll out closet for spices and sauces. So far a ready made one can be costly, so we are considering to do one ourselves. Perhaps time for a handyman weekend after we move in :)
