right after i jotted down my thoughts, partly because Dan is following up with today's announcement from Nokia, we now have some pretty good news (at least for me). Ari Jaaksi made some announcement and it looks like the Internet Tablet's successor will be further "pimped" with goodies the community has been requesting (at least some).
if the next IT (or what ever it is going to be called) has 3G, perhaps it is time to junk the phone too? hmm. unless i need the tablet everywhere i go, i would still like the idea of having two devices. The effort Nokia is putting into the FOSS development is worthy of applause. They strive on and keep putting in more goodies (i hope). With their experience on Gnome/GTK+ and ownership on QT, i can see how Nokia can really put things on right track (of course, they can also put them on the "evil" path if they want). Maemo had came a long way here, and next it should just get better.
keep track on this. it's gonna be exciting though Intel just announced that they will go for Fedora instead of Ubuntu way. Anyone know why is that really better? (byte?)
