i did wrote about my test on the Nokia 770 with beta version of OS, and was pretty excited with new things Nokia brought in. And today i read about another great news - the OSS manager in charge of Nokia 770 and the development blogged about the release of Internet Tablet OS2006 - great news for me.

so yours truly got his hand itchy, and started searching high and low for the file to flash his 770. after some bumps here and there, i only realise that i can get only the developers' version from maemo.org. Fair enough, went there and followed the Wiki howto again. Now i am running the final version of OS 2006.

not gonna write yet another review. but i can assure you the experience with this babe is getting better day by day. It is faster, more responsive, and looks sexier (orange!). GTalk feature is already some neat stuff, being able to do VoIP using GTalk... and with python and other possibilities (am still trying to figure out how to get JamVM running on it) it is gonna be use for my own research work too... somehow and some time later  :) 

note: it is confirmed then, that the application manager is somehow broken. i have reflashed mine too after making some software update using the AM...  so better be careful when you try to do some automatic update or installation :) i recommend to read up in the Wiki and the mailing list before you anything major... that is always helpful.
