No way if you are a malaysian but do not know what is happening now in Malaysia, specifically in Permatang Pauh. Though i am not at home, but i have been following various sources to keep track of the progress of the by-election. Even BBC reports about it this morning when i woke up. Now that is really big news.

I am glad that nothing bad takes place today through out the voting hours. Of course, you have funny people doing funny things to intimidate each other, but most of the supporters did behave themselves, i think. Suspicious busses were found too. For more information google it or look at Merdekareview.com and themalaysianinsider.com.

Until now the update is that Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim won with a majority more than 17k votes. There were even live blogs going on as it went on. THe one i follow is from Hisham Rais, a tip from 5xMom. Before the result is final, we can already celebrate the victory. Not that i don't like the government or what - i think the rightful winner should win. Especially after reading about what surfaced before the by-election, i felt certain party has gone too far in trying to grab more votes. It somehow made me felt i am stupid when i buy all those tricks. So good to see how things happened, as many prognosed and expected.

The main question now - what's next? I was telling a friend i don't expect things to take place so fast. His comment was, better faster and bigger. Why? People can't wait. Yes, you hear me right - The Rakyat can't wait any more.

I only pray that the people will not be harmed. No matter what politikus do at their games, the rakyat should not be used as victims of politics. There are more problems that affect you and me daily - we need solutions and answers. Therefore when changes come, we pray and hope for better tomorrow.

Let's see what happens tomorrow.
