if you follow things happening in Malaysia for the past 2 weeks, i think you will conclude that everything looks as exciting as in many top US series. It looked like everything is possible in Malaysia.
We have (big issue) by-election, funny comments made by politician with no logic reason, people acting like small kid scolding each other, and then people again getting "jailed" without trial. Some claim this has something to do with Anwar's plan to take over the government. And if this will happen, it should take place today, the 16th of September.
I don't really care if things happen today or tomorrow, or if it does not turn out as promised or claimed. The more important issue for me is - how can our nation move on maturely towards a better tomorrow? It does not matter who sits up there - as long as he does his job right as a wakil rakyat - representative of the citizens. What is the use of a wakil rakyat who cares nothing about rakyat?
I wish we can have changes soon, fast or slow. It is not dependent on the party or politician on top alone. You and i should also think and act as Malaysians. I believe someone can also have stupid or funny ideas to cheat the rakyat for his own benefits. But this will never work, if the rakyat are wise enough to see through his plans. This is what democracy can really help us... if we know how it works and why it is for.
i pray that unjust will be stopped in Malaysia. i pray we will not need to wake up fearing our neighbours will become enemies suddenly. i pray we can see more similarities while appreciate our differences. I pray we don't just pray - so that we make bold moves to show we are strong together as a nation.
happy Malaysia day, happy 16th September to my beloved malaysians.
