Pasta love

I have always wanted to post more stuffs, but i think due to time and things around us since end of last year, we ended up catching up undone stuffs or just too lazy to do something on our blogs... But i think we are slowly done with some of the backlogs, and taking more time to rest and regain control of things we want and like to do.

what does it mean when you see such blog entry?

a trick question: "what does it mean, when you see such links in a blog entry?"

to kick it off have a look at :

nice santander

as some of you knew, we were away during the weekend in Santander, Spain. It was a nice breakaway, though we hoped for more sunny weather. So our initial dive plan had to be cancelled due to rough sea, and instead of diving, we spent time lazing around and relax. it was good, nevertheless.

christmas market in Kassel

exactly after i mentioned that i might pass the yearly Christmas market (German = Weihnachtsmarkt) in Kassel this year, we actually made it to have a drink and dinner this wednesday. It was because TzeYing's colleague invited us over for a nice special Christmas desert, so we got to get something to eat in between. So it gave us enough excuse to pop by at the town center, and grab something from the Weihnachtsmarkt.

salad journey

excluding the vegetarians, i think most of us consume quite if not mainly, some meat daily. There are of course many tasty, tempting and mouth salivating meat dishes that one might even give up many things just to enjoy them. Food is still one of the many important thing life, and i think we often spend time in ensuring we will get nice food. And for carnivours like us, we seldom live without meat :)

since last week i thought of some funny idea: why not i go salad for lunch for some time. and there i go: now i am at my 4th lunch salad. please don't mistaken salad as in those you see as in those side dishes. it is a mix of different vegetables, potatoe, beans and perhaps tuna, chicken breast or egg. Sometimes you might like to also add a bun to it. yes, i only said salad, not non-meat meal :) To think about it, when you order a salad in McDonalds here, you usually can also get nice vegetable mix with sauce, and roast chicken breast on top of the greens.

恭喜发财,万事如意,主里蒙恩! gong xi fa cai, wan shi ru yi, zhu li meng en!

yes, it is the time of the year again. Everyone will take this chance to fill up their sms mailbox and blogs and email box all over the world with thousand different versions of Chinese New Year greetings and wishes. so you are also getting one from me :)

a few more days to go

been more than 2 weeks at home now, and i am running out of time. TzeYing is now learning to cope with it :) But this is the fact for everyone who comes back home with very short period of time, and yet have many to meet and many things to do. My mother in law said something very wise: soon we will have less to visit since we will slowly loose touch with them. I believe this is true, but on the other hand, with the help of Internet we are able to reduce the effect. Most of our friends today keep in touch with emails and IM. They work, trust me.

Haus der 100 Biere

was in Berlin last two week, and we found this nice place for lunch: Mommseneck. It was written out there "Haus der 100 Biere"[1] and we found that interesting, and indeed we were happy to have sat there for lunch.

nice german dishes (needed to introduce some german specialities to my old pal Jeffrey) and as usual, german beers. They have real large collection of alchoholic drinks, including Qing Dao from China :) So i think we enjoyed ourselves well.

if you happenned to drop by berlin, check out Posdammerplatz. It is just 1-2 minutes walk from the U-Bahn (MRT/LRT/subway in Germany) station. At the same time, after food go check out Sony Center. Superb architectures.
