the university WLAN and VPN use Cisco VPN, so i need to just remember to install cisco VPN client in order to be able to use it, since once in a while i might be in a place with uni WLAN and not department network. so i went around to search for how-to that i can use... found this from Alan. Eventhough he wrote for Ubuntu Dapper (6.06) but the instructions are clear and works perfectly for Edgy!

have not tried the vpn client, but i assume it should work well. thanks Alan for the great how-to. next, cisco vpn client for 770 :)
