christmas market in Kassel

exactly after i mentioned that i might pass the yearly Christmas market (German = Weihnachtsmarkt) in Kassel this year, we actually made it to have a drink and dinner this wednesday. It was because TzeYing's colleague invited us over for a nice special Christmas desert, so we got to get something to eat in between. So it gave us enough excuse to pop by at the town center, and grab something from the Weihnachtsmarkt.

the place is as crowded as every year, and we just picked a place where we can get something nice to munch. People are also there to either eat or drink the Mull wine (german = Glühwein) with friends. It is actually nice, to be able to get something warm during near winter time. It was now daily around 0-5 degrees, i think. So a nice warm cup of Glühwein will certainly keep you and i warm ;)

here we got our steak and fried potatoe dinner

food was good, though the stall person actually forgot my food actually had 2 fried eggs. :) so i only got them after reminding her friendlily (showing Asian courtesy mah... :)). Manage to snap the steak TzeYing had (i am pretty shy to take too many pictures out there, after people thought i am japanese tourist LOL).

TzeYing's steak

about the Glühwein i have mentioned earlier, it was from the next stall, which we believe belongs to the same boss (the girl in the picture actually came to clean our table later, and they all wear same colour pullover, uniform i pressume).

the chickstall that sells Glühwein

sadly i did not have time to take more shots with the camera. All i used was the K800i i had for the above pictures. They turned out pretty good, actually. For more pictures, do visit the gallery.
