many years ago (really many years ago, say back in 1994?) i got my first pair of boots. mind you, that is not just any pair of boots, but a pair of Dr. Martens. Ever since, i don't think i will find anything more comfy than that. I mean, other shoes are also nice, but a pair of Dr. Martens are made for all kinds of situations and events (at least for me :P). i use it as leisure shoes and semi-casual shoes... and sometimes as work shoes. Sadly, it was stolen in front of my own house. until now i have tried different other brands, but i think the experience stays (no offence to you, Mr. Timberland).

This memory was brought back by Works Boots at metboots.com. The site offers all kinds of boots. You name it, they have it. I don't mean every brand in the world, of course.
