yeah, before Michael ever knew what actually happened, he received an envelope - immediate termination from his current job.

well, it is not like there is any sign coming near him to warn him about any mistakes he has done. Moreover when he was one of the best CIA agent in the team, yeah, you got that right, one of the best CIA agent. No one will expect this to happen to him, not even his boss. All he can say to Michael now is "all the best, bro. When you ever need help, you know my number".

that happened one fine day 2 months ago. Since then, Michael took some time to figure out what actually could have caused him his job. Could it be the time when he did not followed his boss's instruction and went ahead to bust the big mafia group? or was it the time when he doubted the informer's tip, that almost let the terrorist group ran loose. But in all these incidents, it was Michael who finally settled everything and put the bad guys behind bars. no way they can be reasons why he must leave the job.

It was hard for Michael to accept the fact. But it is the fact. He did not really argued or faught back. He knew if a decision is made, he must respect it. Doubts are kept during coffee breaks and sleepless nights. What done is done. 

This thought did help him to stop thinking of the past and to move on, until one day. A phone call brought him back to endless questions - His ex-boss called, and told him something he would never think of.

"how come? i only know what i need to know"

"well, beats me. But from some sources this is exactly why they don't want you anymore here"

"who are 'they'?"

"i am not suppose to tell you so much details. Just thought of clearing your troubled mind.... perhaps it was a better idea not to call you after all"

"come on boss, I'm cool with it. just curious how can that be a reason..."

Suddenly the line got cut off. Michael was dumb found. What happened on the other end of the cable? And who are these people who have started to doubt a good agent? Had he ever crossed the line?
