away for a weekend and mobile

this weekend we are visiting our friend in frankfurt. we have decided to travel light - in other words, no heavy stuffs, no non-sense and no notebook. but i would not want to be totally disconnected, so naturally i need my gadgets around. therefore the n800 has been called into duty again.

this time i do it slightly different. i tried the thumb keyboard since i find typing using the stylus rather slow. so far it does the job pretty fine, surprisingly! it is not 100% like using the normal keyboard but it is also not as bad as i thought. perhaps it is just a matter of getting used to.

back to travel... before we meet up with our friend we walk through some shopping area, and i was wondering perhaps i can take a look at some camera bags, since we have some time. it turned out that i found a pretty tempting offer. a crumpler bag was at sale. i remember seeing it on some online shops selling at 140euro while in shop it was 60. the catch is - the logos were all removed. the salesperson did however said that the bag is original, so after a short consideration i made up my mind. so now i am a proud owner of a delogoed crumpler. :)

weather in frankfurt is beautiful. it is also nice to take a break to visit friend's family that we have not met since quite some time. i will of course try not to be online too often or long - can always do that when we get back to kassel.

hope the election at home will go on well, and we will have a good government for the next term. til then, this is wahlau bloggin from n800
